Fundraising for Studies
Welcome one and all!
I am delighted to invite you to an online programme of French organ pieces (+Bach!) as part of an online crowdfunding concert on Sunday September 5th.
This will be streamed from the famous Cavaillé-Coll organ of the Basilica St. Sernin, Toulouse.
Things have been a little challenging here in France in terms of finding work and concerts, and I thought a good way to raise some money for my studies would be to perform on the very instrument to which I am dedicating my life. I am increasingly concerned about financing my studies as I continue here in Toulouse, and possibly Paris or Germany in the more distant future. I would be most incredibly grateful for any donation towards my studies.
However, if you simply wish to hear this magnificent organ, the concert is free of charge, so please feel very welcome.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my dear teacher and the titulaire of the Cavaillé-Coll at St Sernin, Michel Bouvard, whose unending kindness and staggering musicianship has been most inspiring to me throughout my first year here in Toulouse. I wish him and his wife, Yasuko Bouvard a most happy retirement.
Please find the programme below.
Wishing everyone a fantastic end to the summer.
