Chris Painter

If you live in Sandpoint, Clark Fork, or surrounding areas, you may be  fortunate enough to have been blessed by Chris Painter.  She is invaluable to those who have children in our community.  Be it because they have a disability and receive her services or because they participate in any of the arenas where she so unselfishly donates her time; like 4H, Sandpoint Special Olympics or one of the local elementary schools where she brings her trained therapy dog to assist with reading in the classroom.  Chris is a single mom of two adult children; one who is on the Autism Spectrum who requires her full time care.  Chris NEVER stops giving or serving those that she loves (which are many) and now Chris needs your help.  Chris was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and will need to undergo radiation and chemotherapy before having surgery... then followed by more chemo.  Some of these treatments will require her to travel back and forth toe CDA, which will get costly. These treatments will be costly and will require her to miss some work.  We are asking that you help in any way that you can. Thank you so much!  
If you have fire wood you could spare, a meal, or a ride to Sandpoint or CDA when Chris is tired and doesn't feel well, even a card of encouragement is helpful in these times.
