South Africa Service Trip

Hi, my name is Erik Kolar Jr. and I am using my fathers Facebook account because I do not currently have one. I am currently completing my Junior year at Malvern Prep. Before my Senior year begins, I will have the opportunity to travel to South Africa and do service for the people living in that area. The people I will be dealing with are very poor. To prepare myself for the trip, I need to mentally put myself in their place. One way of doing this is by experiencing  what it feels like to ask for someone's financial help. In that spirit, I am asking you to help me get to $2000 with a small donation. My parents are NOT permitted to cover the cost of the trip, so I need your help. Going to South Africa is something I am looking forward to, as I will have the opportunity to experience life like most of the world's population. I am hoping that the lessons learned from this trip will help me appreciate the gifts I have been given and then be more open to sharing these gifts with others. Please seriously consider my request. If you find it in your heart to help me, I ask you to write a check , made out to Malvern Prep, and send it to me at home. My goal is to raise $2000 as I must cover half the actual cost which is $4000. I need to turn over to school, everything I have been able to collect by January 14th, 2016.

I am also asking for your prayers. This trip will bring me to an area very different from my daily group and I will need my family and friends to keep me in their thoughts and prayers. Also, I ask that you pray for my parents as they may be be anxious about my leaving.
