Bogdan

Hi, my name is Iulia and I am trying to help my friend Bogdan. I met Bogdan many years ago, as I am best friends with his aunt, Manuela. They both live in Romania and are a very close-knit family.

Unfortunately, misfortune befell them a couple of years ago when Bogdan was in a motocycle accident that had him bed ridden for months with extreme complications. During this time he was diagnosed with colon-cancer.

After months of treatment, operations and chemotherapy at the end of 2024 he was cleared and all tests were pointing in the right direction.

At the beginning of June 2025 he had to repeat the test and they came back bad, with the tumors returning.

He needs urgent surgery to remove the tumors before they turn malign.

As probably many of you know, the Romanian health system is not the greatest and his family funded him for the last 2 years of treatment to have it at a specialised clinic in Turkey.

Everyone is in turmoil and don't know where to turn next for help and that is why I am creating this page on his behalf and his family.
