Hello everyone, my name is Desiree Hernandez and I’m doing this on behalf of my sister, Vanessa Nunez. She is 36 years old and a devoted mother of four children, ranging in age from 18 to just 2 years old. About a year ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Despite her strength and resilience, the cancer has since progressed and she is now facing stage 4 lung cancer. We travel weekly to San Diego for her chemotherapy treatments, which adds both emotional and financial stress to an already difficult journey. Vanessa continues to fight with everything she has while trying to stay strong for her kids. We’re raising funds to help with the growing costs of medical care, transportation, and daily living expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, means more to our family than words can express.

Watching my sister Vanessa go through this has been heartbreaking. She’s the kind of person who puts everyone else first, especially her kids, and even now, her main concern is making sure they’re okay.
