Keep Girls In School

THE GOAL: To raise $3,000 to provide reusable sanitary pads to girls at Lake Malawi Secondary School in Malawi, Africa.

Thousands of girls in Malawi miss school every day because they are menstruating. There are no adequate sanitation facilities for them and they do not have funds to buy disposable sanitary pads. A pack of locally made sanitary pads costs $13 and will last each girl 4 years.

Trinitas Mhango is a local community woman who owns a small company in Malawi that makes reusable sanitary pads. She dreams of supplying  'Tina Pads' to all the girls in Malawi so not another school day is missed.

This money will go to purchasing 'Tina Pads' for all the girls at Lake Malawi Secondary School!




This fall I am joining a group of women on a Safari & Charity trip to Malawi. Part of the trip will be spent mentoring students at Lake Malawi Secondary School. The money raised with this campaign will help us give back to the community as part of this amazing charity trip. Thank you for helping us help underprivileged students in Malawi!
