Kevin's medical expenses

My name is Jessica and I am hoping to raise funds for a very special dog named Kevin. Kevin recently became very ill and is being cared for at an emergency veterinarian hospital. It seems Kevin has sepsis cause by acute gastrointestinal hemorrhaging. The doctors are now trying to determine the cause of this and it appears to be Addison's disease.

A little history of Kevin's life. He is a rescue dog who came to Canada from Egypt in December 2020. His life in Egypt was rough. He had to have both of his eyes removed and is deaf. He was living at a shelter with over 900 dogs. With little chance of being adopted, an amazing rescue in Canada had him brought to Toronto to give him the opportunity to live the life that he deserved. Kevin hit the jackpot with his forever family. He joined his family that had two other dogs, one who is fully sighted and one who was partially blind. More recently, he had a senior dog with health issues of his own join the pack. It takes very special people to love and care for special needs and senior dogs but this can be very costly. The recent health issues with Kevin will definitely be expensive and that's where we come in. If you know Kevin, you know he is a very determined little dude and he has had many obstacles in his life. He has come too far to give up now, just when he has been given the amazing life that he truly deserves.
