Our Green West Orange is a non-profit that runs an alert system to the community about overdevelopment projects and loss of our tree canopy. We advocate for a more responsive town hall. When they don't respond, your tax deductible contribution helps us hire experts to testify before the Township to protect our tree-lined neighborhoods, stop the flooding, reduce traffic and reduce taxes. All to keep our property values high! This is a good investment! We have successsfully strengthened the tree ordinance and because of our efforts every project in West Orange must have rigorous tree plantings.

We have challenged every major development and won many concessions. We have stopped some projects that were not benefiicial to the community.
