Our Green West Orange is a non-profit that runs an alert system to the community about overdevelopment projects and loss of our tree canopy. This means we must advocate for a more responsive town hall. When they don't respond, your tax deductible contribution helps us hire experts to testify before the Township to protect our tree-lined neighborhoods, stop the flooding, reduce traffic and reduce taxes. All to keep our property values high! This is a good investment! We have successsfully strengthened the tree ordinance and because of our efforts every project in West Orange must have rigorous tree plantings.
