Support Parker's Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
I’m reaching out today to ask for your support for a truly remarkable young man, Parker Christensen. Over the past three weeks, Parker has been enduring one of the hardest battles of his life. He has been in and out of the hospital, struggling with severe bilateral pneumonia that has now been turned into Empyema, and the road to recovery has been difficult. Every night, he faces fever and chills, and his body has weakened so much that he’s lost 10 pounds. In addition to this, Parker recently had to undergo surgery to help remove an infection which has made it difficult for him to breathe. He is now in intense pain as he continues to fight to heal.
Parker is an extraordinary young man. A talented athlete who has earned a spot on his varsity basketball team and is contributing to the varsity track team at Minnetonka. His
love for sports has always been a huge part of who he is. He is a determined and hardworking young man, always pushing himself to be the best he can be. This illness, however, has taken away his ability to do what he loves, and it’s heartbreaking to see him face such a long and painful recovery.
We are so grateful for your kindness, your prayers, and your support. No donation is too small, and your generosity will help ensure that Parker can focus on getting better and returning to the life he loves—basketball, track, and his future.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping Parker in his time of need. We are incredibly lucky to have such a strong, caring community surrounding us.
With gratitude,
The Christensen Family
