Hey everyone. As many of you know, I am currently attending San Diego State University in the graduating Class of 2019. Being an out-of-state student, I was aware that college would be very expensive, however I'm finally in enough of a pickle to ask for some help. California has always been home to me and for personal reasons I wanted to come home and do some soul searching after feeling like loosing myself over the past few years. I'v e taken out loans for school knowing it is an unreasonable 36,000 dollars a year to attend SDSU for me but for some reason the loan I took out has not been processed yet therefore I can not cover the initial 1,500.00 dollars I need by September 8th to keep my meal plan and housing in tact as well as the 3,708.00 dollars due by december 1st with my new installment plan. For some reason we just got the letter informing that this money was needed only 3 days ago giving me only 7 days to come up with the money. My parents are doing what they can, but the reality of it is they cannot afford to give me 100% of what I need. I've never wanted to make a GoFund Me page because I know there are other people who need money much more than I do. And I feel guilty for setting up an account when I know others have set up accounts for much more desperate situations but unfortunately I ran out of options and I'm hoping this is my saving grace. I miss my family, but I faced a big fear stepping out of my safety net to grow as a person and I am not ready to call it quits and return home just yet. Any amount of money will help and I'm thankful for anyone who even read this.
