Help Dexter

Our dear friends Mike and Julia adopted Dexter (the cute golden you see here!) nearly a year ago. Like any new puppy parents, he changed their lives forever! He quickly became the fur son they always wanted...fun, loving, full of playful energy, and puppy eyes that suck you in for endless snuggles.
About a week ago, Dexter became suddenly ill. Very lethargic, wouldn't eat, and seemed very weak. They quickly took him to the vet where they learned he had a lung infection. Due to how weak Dexter was, they were unable to put him under anesthesia for a biopsy to learn more about the infection. Vets have been trying different antibiotics but are unsure what will save Dexter. He is not doing well and Mike and Julia have not been able to see their loved one in several days.
During his stay, they have accrued a hefty vet bill already at $10,000. With everything Mike and Julia need to focus on with Dexter, we want to do what we can to remove the worry of money from the equation. This fundraiser is to help them cover their vet bills so they can put all their focus on helping Dexter pull through this.
