Hi, My name is Rainbow and I'm fundraising for my Uncle Gary. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer. The strand of cancer he has is hard to treat. Gary has always been a hard-working man. He owns a business as a surveyor in Alaska. This type of work is physically demanding. He is at the point with his cancer that he is unable to work. He met with cancer specialists from UCSF throughout the last couple of weeks to come up with a treatment plan. While all of the details to that are being worked out he is going to be traveling to Scottsdale Arizona to seek treatment with Envita Medical Center. None of the treatments at La Vid is covered by Medicare. So he will need to pay out of pocket for everything. He will also need to pay for lodging.
