Help Peaches Walk Again - Surgery Fund
Donation protected
On Friday, May 16th, my dog Peaches was jumping around playing and was laying on the ground whimpering the next. She had tripped and fell, fracturing her tibia in her left hind leg and also dislocating her hips. The hips may have already been loose since, as a German Shepherd, she is prone to hip dysplasia.
Surgery to put plating around the fracture is $6-9k and additional surgery to put her hips back into place would be another $6k. That's not including medication during the initial x-rays and post-surgery recovery medication.
My name is Apple, I am 15 years old and Peaches is 15 months old. I have raised her since she was a few weeks old, naming her Peaches so our names would match. Whenever I get home from school, she'd jump up and lick my face frantically to greet me. She means the world to me and now she is stuck in bed rest until we can save up enough to afford the surgeries. My dad is retired and provides for us through social security benefits, which is barely enough to get by. My sister is in college and has a part-time job, but she can only afford part of the total costs.
Please donate to help Peaches walk again and be the energetic puppy she always is on the inside. Anything helps and would be very appreciated!!
