Please Help Save Kali

Hi, my name is Allison and I’m here to ask for help to give Kali a fighting chance to save her life.

Kali has been diagnosed with DCM (Dilapidated Cardiomyopathy) and Congestive Heart Failure, a more severe case unfortunately, and she’s only 4 years old. She will have to be on expensive medication for the rest of her life. She was given a 3-9 month life expectancy.

Right now, she is being treated for fluid in her lungs because her enlarged heart is pumping too fast and it’s causing a building up of fluid. The excellent emergency vet team were able to drain the fluid in her lungs but that required an overnight stay. The vet bills are extraordinarily high, and she is currently at home but has an appointment with a cardiologist specialist on Monday February 10th. But at any moment, she might have to be rushed to the emergency vet again as her condition can flip so suddenly.

She’s being so brave and is such a good girl all things considered, but her vet bills are extremely costly. As she only has those 3-9 months, any donations to the medications and special food to keep her comfortable and stable until then will be so helpful. She means everything to my sister and soon to be brother in law, and my heart is breaking that I can’t help them more than being supportive and there for them.

So I’m here to ask you all to help Kali, and raise funds for her expensive medical care. They’ve already paid over 5k in medical expenses, but the road ahead is unknown.
