Hi, I'm Zane. My dog Marley ran away Thursday afternoon. Animal control picked her up and took her in. My mom called the shelter, and they told her she couldn't pick her up till Friday morning. The reason was she hadn't been spayed. So, we went to pick her up the next morning, and everything was fine until Saturday night. Marley started having really unusual behaviors, seizure-like.

Sunday came around, and the same behaviors were occurring. So, Monday morning, we took her to the shelter so they could look at her to see if the incision was infected or not. They told us, "No, we refuse to look at her; it's out of our timeline." So, we took her to an emergency vet. They took X-rays to see if there were any blockages or something wrong, and there wasn't. So, we took her home, and she cried all night long in pain with a 105 fever.

Tuesday morning, we took her back to the vet. They did more X-rays and still found nothing. Wednesday, they put her on IV antibiotics and fluids. The vet kept her overnight, and there still weren't any signs of improvement. They gave us two options today: either keep her another night and see if she responds after being on the antibiotics for 24 hours or just put her down. We decided to put her down so she wasn't in any misery anymore.
