Hi, my name is Marcus Johnson.

I’m currently hospitalized due to severe complications from diabetes that have completely changed my life. On January 15th, I had my toe and part of the side of my foot amputated. Since then, I’ve faced multiple life-threatening complications including pneumonia, blood clots, a serious blood infection, multiple blood transfusions, and kidney failure that required dialysis.

These complications have left me disabled and unable to work. What started as diabetes complications quickly turned into a long and difficult fight for my life.

Right now, I’m raising funds to help cover:

• Ongoing medical expenses

• Dialysis and follow-up treatments

• Medications and medical supplies

• Personal care and hygiene essentials

• Phone and basic living expenses

• Transportation to medical appointments

This has been physically, emotionally, mentally and financially overwhelming. I never imagined I would be in this position, but I’m asking for help as I focus on healing and rebuilding my life.
