Chargers Athletics Fundraiser

Green Street Academy (GSA), a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation, is a public charter school located in Baltimore, MD, founded in 2010. The school’s mission is to prepare middle and high schools students in Baltimore City for college and careers in the 21st century economy.  Our school is striving to go above and beyond traditional education models to meet our students needs on all levels.  Sports offer formative and life long lessons that stick with people who play.
Research shows that people who played high school sports tend to get better jobs, with better pay, and that those benefits last a lifetime.  
Our goal is to develop a high quality athletics program that influences our student-athletes to strive for excellence regardless how trivial a task in all facets of life.
Part of having a high quality athletics program is having the equipment and facilities to support it.  We will be using the funds to purchase larger equipment such as a basketball rebounder, shoot-away, jugs passing machine, hydrating system, batting cages, and field upgrades.  Having these upgrades for our athletic program will help us to provide our student-athletes a high quality experience.  We are extremely grateful for all donations.
