Carmen and Family Treatment Fund

Hi. I can’t believe I’m making this, but my beautiful niece has just been diagnosed with cancer. She’s 2 years old. TWO. There isn’t a lot to post yet, but what I do know is it is neuroblastoma.

As you can imagine, my sister and brother in law are absolutely devastated. This is Carmen. Their Carmen.

They have a 3 month old, Lulu, at home as well. When Lulu was 1 week old she was admitted to the hospital for a severe case of RSV. Danielle and Derrick had originally planned to use their leave at separate times, but ended up taking it all together so they could focus on Lulu in the hospital.

If they have any PTO left, it wouldn’t be much. One of them may even need to quit their job to be with Carmen. She is currently admitted indefinitely as they determine courses of treatment. 

They need all the help they can get because the last thing I want them to worry about right now is finances and work. 

sorry this introduction sounds frantic, we’re all still adjusting to this news. I just want to help my sister and brother in law out in anyway that I can.
