Run for hope .
My name is Maks and I will be running the Riga Marathon . I’ve always wanted to run a marathon .As a lot of you know running a marathon isn’t an easy thing however 2023 wasn’t also an easy thing for friends close by to me last year . last November my friend Wiktor passed away from cancer after battling gallantly with a smile on his face and a hope that he’d get to work with dogs trust ,each day sharing his love and optimism for life and animals . Also one of my long time friends mother passed not too long ago from her battle to cancer . It is in hearing their stories that I gained an admiration for the toughness resilience and hope they shared every day to get through the struggle . It is with this hope that I can share this opportunity with you to raise money to give hope to other so that those who need help will get what they deserve that they can celebrate another day and live on and smile and hope on !!!
It is through this hope I will run the Riga Marathon to celebrate the lives they’ve and lived and legacy they leave behind .
