Help Jax Walk Again
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Brenda and my husband Jake and I are seeking help to cover the costs of surgery for our 6 year old mini dachshund, Jax, who is currently struggling with IVDD. A little over two months ago, just days before I gave birth to our first born, Jax started having some back trouble. Needless to say, we’ve had our hands full lately. Jax has had countless visits to the vet where they have tried different medications and techniques to help him recover. He has had good days, and bad days, but as of yesterday has hit rock bottom. Jax has lost feeling in his two back legs and is unable to walk or move at all without causing whimpering pain. Jake brought him to the emergency vet where they recommended surgery as soon as possible. Mini dachshunds live on average 12-14 years and some up to 20 years of age. Anyone that knows us, understands the love we have for our fur babies and how heartbreaking it is to watch Jax this way. We know that Jax deserves to walk, run, and play with our other two pups for many years to come and that this surgery is so important. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and thank you in advance for any donations.
Sincerely,
