Humberto is not aware we have started this GoFundMe!

Friends, family, colleagues, Humberto and his wife Jacque recently brought their 2nd baby into this world. Less than 24 hours after birth, baby Luca was airlifted to downtown Chicago after spontaneous pneumothorax made him unstable, requiring emergency surgery. The surgery was a success, though the road to recovery is long and difficult. Luca's oxygen levels are climbing back to normal, though his collapsed lung is still recovering and Luca has not been able to breathe on own, without the use of chest tubes and machines.

Luca, Humberto, and Jacque are expected to be living at the hospital for a total of 4 stressful and hellish weeks. With Luca in the NICU, Humberto and Jacque have been blessed with the opportunity to stay at the Ronald McDonalds house for nearly free thanks to those who donate the the cause, though 4 weeks in the NICU will be far from it.

The funds raised will be donated to Humberto and Jacque to help cover mostly medical bills, but also small living expenses, medication and/or medical devices required afterward, and any other expense due to Luca's medical emergency.
