Help Mike Recover From Hunting Accident
Donation protected
On Friday, November 12th, my brother-in-law, Mike Hendrickson, went out deer hunting near Kingston, MN. While climbing a tree stand, his gun discharged into his left thigh and he fell to the ground. Thankfully, he was with his nephew who was able to go for help while Mike applied a tourniquet. He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center via Lifelink. His first surgery revealed significant loss of tissue, coupled with losing a large portion of his femur.
The purpose of this campaign is to reach out and raise funds for Mike as he begins the very long road to recovery that will require multiple surgeries, weeks of hospitalization and rehabilitation. Our family wants Mike to focus on getting better and not have him troubled with worry on how to get there. Mike has always been the kind of person who will drop everything to help a person in need; friend, family and strangers alike. Our family wants to reciprocate that spirit of giving for Mike. Anything you can do to assist will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks for your thoughts, prayers and compassion.
