Hello, My name is Paul. On the night of July 4th, my son was hit in the eye with a firework. We rushed him to the ER in Vallejo Ca. From there, they transported him to Oakland Childrens Hospital by ambulance, where they did surgery on him. His eye was split in half. The surgeon was able to stitch his eye so that his eyeball would look almost normal. I've had to take off work and travel back and forth, and unfortunately, I didn't have vacation or sick time. Now we are behind on rent and bills, not to mention the medical cost ($16,000) and more traveling to doctor appointments here in the future. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not usually one to ask for help, but this is much needed. Thank you.

UPDATE: After seeing a specialist yesterday 08/01, he suggested surgery and taking out the entire eye. This adds more days off and more bills.
