GRUPEDSAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to training individuals in the construction and use of self-made ecological technologies as a means to satisfy basic water, food, shelter and energy needs of communities in poverty. The organization was founded in 1987 and has two sustainable training centers in Oaxaca and the State of Mexico. It also provides workshops to disseminate these techniques at an international level. GRUPEDSAC´s programs and projects benefit extremely poor and marginalized rural communities, promote regional development, and stimulate the use of ecologically sustainable techniques to reduce environmental harm. Its efforts directly address the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
