Grudzinski Flood Recovery

Justina & Ed's home flooded earlier this week due to a horrible storm. Having a raised ranch - the first level of their home is a living space - part of which they JUST remodeled in March/April. Their entire garage also flooded. The structural damages are significant - and they lost an extreme amount of personals as well. Years worth of memories, thousands of dollars in clothes, boots, kids toys and clothes, etc. In addition... their washer, dryer, and furnace all need to be replaced. Flood insurance is covering some. But not nearly as much as you would think. They as a family will be ok! Their main living space was untouched. They are positive and humble and would never ask for help. When I saw Justina, amidst all this ruin yesterday, she just said "These are all things. We are going to be fine. All I can think about is families who truly lose everything in hurricanes or floods." But I also watched her reaction as Ed power washed the basement and his friend pushed the water out with a broom. And as she dug through years of storage and little mementos of the kiddos would pop up. I am sharing this amongst the combined families as a way to give them some hope. Some extra support to give them strength and courage to see them through this recovery. These are 2 people who go out of their ways on a daily basis to help others. I couldn't sit back and let the opportunity to do the same for them pass by. I'm sharing with as many family as I can on Justina's side.
