Some of you may know that our dear friend Suzanah has been going through quite a journey lately. She has a reproductive issue involving a great deal of ongoing blood loss that required her to be in the hospital for almost a month.

She has responded with great authenticity and grace throughout the process. Currently she is waiting for surgery that is scheduled for mid-April. Afterwards there will be a recovery period. In the meantime she isn't allowed to work much on the advice of her doctor.  She needs to focus on taking care of daily needs and healing.

To top it all off, soon after she came out of the hospital she was on the way to the bank to deposit her rent money and was pickpocketed at Starbucks…yikes!! It was $650 :(

The good news is she has lots of great friends and a small amount of support from the government for a few months. However this is not enough to cover the financial gap at the moment.

Ideally Suzanah needs $1000 per month for three months to cover rent and food from now until the end of May when the recovery period following surgery is expected to be complete.

Suzanah is a lovely soul. Many of you know her as a very giving massage therapist who  gives amazing Abhyanga or oil massages and lovely facials! She is also a certified KRI yoga instructor and is pursuing her dream to work with children through the Montessori method.


Campaigns like this can be a beautiful way of showing support for friends when they need a helping hand. It is a simple personal gift but collectively our donations can create stability for a friend to heal in a graceful way.
