Hello - I'm Becca Kamenick and I'm raising money for Gerald (Jay) Kamenick. Jay is my friend and brother-in-law. Those of you that know Jay know he has a big heart, a great sense of humor, and a free spirit.

Unfortunately, on Tuesday morning Jay suffered from a blood clot in his brain. He had an emergency brain surgery and we are currently waiting for him to wake up. Once he wakes up he will need to go to a rehabilitation center to heal. His recovery will need to continue once he's able to return home too. We are unsure how long this will take or when he will be able to return to work.

Jay's family and I are asking for help making sure his monthly bills (rent, utilities, cell phone, etc.) can be met so he can focus on getting better and returning to his boys and family.

There are many unknowns at this time, but we do know that we don't want Jay to worry about whether he will have a place for him and his kids to live when he is able to come home.
