My name is Jonathan Griffin and my children are students at the PFS Academy of Martial Arts. In these pressing times the most important thing in our lives is our relationship with families and friends. This dojo, Sensei Justin and his wife, Michelle, have been a part of our lives for over 10 years. To us and the many other families whose children have attended this dojo they are family and have taught our children not just karate, kickboxing, MMA, grappling, etc. They have created an unbreakable bond of friendship, taught perseverance, character and the value of a healthy lifestyle. Due to the current climate the dojo had to close its doors physically but coach found a way to continue training via ZOOM. The shut down has created a financial burden which will be hard to overcome. Our daughter has been going to the dojo since she was three. She is eight now and has competed in two US Open tournaments as well as other tournaments. The self-confidence she has gained from attendance here is beyond measure. Our 5 year old son also attends and has come out of shell in this environment. Our family as well as many others would be devastated if the dojo had to shut its doors for good. It would be a great loss to the community for families now and future generations to lose such a wonderful place, a great Sensei and a positive environment to make friends, train to your fullest potential, experience diversity and create core friendships. We re reaching out to you to please consider donating to help keep PFS Academy's doors open. We truly appreciate any assistance you can provide. Together as a community we can help this awesome stay open. We feel it is integral to keep our small businesses up and running as well encourage positive environments for children to grow and learn healthy lifestyle choices.
