The Grove School is a Montessori-based charter middle and high school in Redlands, CA. The Grove teaches students life skills, real world consequences and care for their community through a child-centered education conducted on a working farm. In 2013, this little school won the California Distinguished School Award ! More than 100 kids are turned away each year because The Grove does not have room to grow.
In 2009, the oldest school in Redlands, the Barton Schoolhouse , was moved to the school grounds. Years of work and generous donations have brought us to the point where the renovation is nearly complete. The Barton Schoolhouse is a community treasure that we are honored to have given a second life. It will provide the students with 4 new classrooms and a flexible open space for hosting events.
But to open the doors in August 2015, the community is trying to raise $200,000. Please help us Grow the Grove by donating today!
