Growing Trade/ V+V Mural Project
Tax deductible
Growing Trade has teamed up with the artists from Visionaries and Voices to create a new mural for Northside, and you can help!
Our blank storefront wall at Growing Trade Pet & Plant has been
begging for artwork since we moved in over a year ago. Lucky for us, we happen to be located across the street from a nexus of creative energy in Cincinnati, Visionaries + Voices!
Last summer, we began to work together with V&V on planning a grand mural for our 3840 Spring Grove Avenue home. Growing Trade’s mural will be 40 feet long and 12 feet high, and will be prominently visible from Spring Grove Avenue. Walkers, bus riders, motorists, customers, and neighbors… everyone will be able to enjoy the artwork!
The mission of Visionaries + Voices is to provide artistic and cultural opportunities for artists with disabilities, and to build an inclusive environment where all artists feel valued. We value a world in which artists with disabilities not only create and share their works of art, but also are able to learn, work, collaborate, exhibit, teach, and celebrate with other community members.
The main priority at Visionaries and Voices are the artists: making sure they have successful, fun, educational days, and opportunities to build relationships in the studio and in the greater arts community, while making great art.
