MrQuicksclass.com isn't just about a person; it's a promise. It’s the promise of a free e-Learning website that meets my students exactly where they are. Imagine a platform where a struggling yet determined student can:

• Pause, rewind, and re-watch a lesson on "Shift in Verb Tense" until it makes sense.

• Click a button for an alternative, visual presentation explanation if the first one didn't stick.

• Instantly test their knowledge with interactive quizzes and get immediate feedback.

Over 20 years ago, back in 2003, I had a dream of merging everything I knew about web-development and design with, at the time, my new love: teaching. I was excited, I was motivated, and I was determined to give my students something new, something different, something innovative, something that would do more than just go beyond the pale of “traditional teaching” but would transform it into a modern way of thinking. By 2006, I called it “Taking Learning to the Next Level”

Back then, I was totally out of step with the pace of the realities of general access to technology because most students, at best, had a slow dial-up modem internet connection, and some didn’t even have a reliable desktop computer at home. I had a choice then of giving up and waiting for the rest of the educational world (students included) to catch up or forge ahead with a seemingly impossible dream.

After hundreds and hundreds of hours and a whole lot of money pinched from my pathetic monthly teacher’s salary, I managed to create a working and usable e-learning website with courses that propelled student learning. But unfortunately, every step of the way was a battle: from parents that felt it a waste of time and out of the pocket expenses (computers, home internet etc.) to administrators who did not share my vision and could not possibly see how the internet would solve problems with learning. I pushed forward ignoring and blocking out every negative comment, experience, and person.

Then something amazing happened around 2010: I discovered a learning management system called “Moodle” that tailored fitted exactly what I was already doing adding the wed development expertise that so desperately needed at the time. I dived in head first immersing myself into everything “Moodle” becoming a dedicated “Moodler” and creating e-learning courses that turned that seemingly impossible dream into a possible beautiful reality.

With this new platform, I was able to convince not only students but also their parents that gaining beneficial academic purpose from being on the internet was not only possible but also the future of learning.

By 2016, my idea was in full swing,
and students were loving it: loving the flexibility, freedom, and independence of learning at their own pace. They were able to see the benefit of being able to spend the extra time they needed on exactly the points/topics they needed covered. No more depending on the teacher to repeat or do a review that power was now right in front of them on their computer at anytime of the day or night.

For the past 10 years I spent countless hours perfecting course formats, listening/reading feedback and taking suggestions from students. The only thing that limited my progress was money.

Unfortunately, with the improvement of technology comes the need for increased resources. See, a website is like a public computer where everyone can login and go through its hard-drives, watching its videos, reading its text files, listening to its audio files etc. But like a computer resources like RAM, Disk-space, Data-transfer speeds etc. is limited, and herein lies my dilemma. To increase resources for course improvement and usability, I would need to upgrade my “computer.” The word “computer” here can be swapped out with the word “Server” because in order to make files available for the public over the internet, you have to use a “Server” (just another name for computer).

I currently, and for years, have used a shared server, which is much cheaper than using a dedicated server, but even that has become quite expensive. When considering the other costs that go into keeping a website up/running year after year and my meager teacher’s salary, maintaining the quality/availability of a free e-learning site has become very difficult. So, of course, the thought of keeping or even upgrading/growing the capabilities of the overall free e-learning experience (a dedicated server or new computer equipment) is an impossibility.

So, for the first time in over 20 years, I am reaching out to others for help: something that is not easy for me to do, but when considering my amazing students and the incredible strides in improvement that they make using this amazing learning tool, it is something that I need to do.

To make a long story short, I’m broke, and the only thing I have left of any value is my dream of merging everything I know about web-development and my love for teaching. Unfortunately, I don't have the funds to continue providing this amazing free learning tool to my students, by purchasing a new web-hosting package or computer equipment: I need money. I need or should I say we (my student’s and I) need your help to save our site.

You can be someone’s "Mr. Quick." With your donation, you can be the reason a student doesn't just pass a test, but falls in love with learning again.

In every classroom, there are students being left behind by the pace of technology and the inaccessibility to reach it. MrQuicksclass.com is the BRIDGE. It’s the tool that empowers the determined student.

But to build this bridge for everyone, I need your help. I need to fund the servers, buy equipment to develop the content, and make sure it remains free, forever. I'm not just building a website; I'm building a lifeline for every curious mind that doesn’t fit into a standard box.

Please, help me fund this vision. Let’s continue building classrooms without walls, without limits, and without a price tag.
