Welcome to the Ellis Farm Go Fund Me!
We are Yoav and Tehila Ellis, second generation operators of the Ellis Farm in Moshav Zippori, Israel. Thirty six years ago, my (Yoav’s) parents began this small goat farm in northern Israel with the dream of establishing a self-supporting business for themselves and future generations. Over the course of the years, the potential has grown, but we still struggle to turn a profit that both covers operating expenses, and allows us to make ends meet as a multi-generational farm.
It’s been a long-held dream to revitalize our home and family business. Over the last few years our vision has grown and now stands ready to begin!
Our plan for Ellis Farm is to remake the business as an agri-tourist farm, based on sustainable and ecological farming practices that provides quality products and education. This will happen through berry picking, worm composting, grass fed livestock, educational lectures, and tours for visitors to our farm, which will include picnic areas as well. We will continue to produce and sell our renowned goat cheeses, fresh produce, and homemade natural soaps. Our desire is to improve the land, enrich our customers, and provide a sustainable livelihood for the Ellis family and community.
