Help me get Gut Malrotation Correction @ Cleveland Clinic

I have suffered unbearably and been hospitalized too many times to count over this condition I was apparently born with. I have finally been scheduled for the surgery in Dec 2024. I will be hospitalized for 10 days. I will have part of my colon removed, possibly need transplant, organs rearranged, put in proper place, and on feeding tube for many days. I need to be in Cleveland, Ohio for 3wks in total. I need to cover flight, hotel, food the 10 days I have to be there before surgery. My SSDI from my employment for 35yrs paying into it leaves me with no extra to cover these travel costs. Dr. Kareem is my only hope. It took months to get an appt for consult and months to get surgery. I couldn't get it done in Sept because I didnt not have the funds.
I was hospitalized in Cleveland Clinic in Tradition for one week last Sept 2023 for the same issues and left with no answers. Finally in Nov 2023, I learned of Dr. Kareem Abu-Elmagds new surgical intervention. He has completed it successfully on thousands of patients.
Anyone who knows me knows I have suffered with GI issues for years. I learned in 2020 that I was born with an intestinal malrotation. I have been in and out of the ER and hospital for years and no one knew how to help. Even now after having surgical treatment of intestinal malrotation, my intestines appear to have retwisted per the drs and the only surgeon who can help me is at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. This causes severe pain midchest and lower abdomen and I am doubled over for many hours daily and vomit regularly despite being on very restricted diet and taking 3 GI medications daily.
I have posted links related to this life altering surgery to show how common this diagnosis is (i.e. 1 in 200 births) and how often it is missed. One critical line that got me was when Dr. Kareem wrote that "treating an intestinal malrotation with the Ladds procedure is like giving a person with a brain tumor an aspirin". People can die from this if its becomes a volvulus. It must be done.
I would be grateful for your prayers and any assistance you can offer. I have been surviving on SSDI since 2021 and had no income for a few years prior because I was too sick to keep working in the career I loved. I've got many other diagnoses that I have managed since 2014 and worked through my debilitating symptoms until 2019 when I could no longer function but a couple hours a day due to multiple diagnoses I spend my days primarily in bed on heat, ice, meds or in the bathroom. I see drs each week and do my physical therapy homework, walk between kitchen, bath, bedroom and can walk to car unassisted but any walking or standing beyond that, I use walker and shower chair. My best days are ahead. God promised. ❤
