Grossman Family Journey

Millie Claire and Margot Kathleen entered the world via emergency c-section on April 26th, 2020. Born 12 weeks before their due date, the twins weighed in at 2lbs 8oz and 2lbs 6oz respectively. Though everyone is overjoyed at their arrival, the Grossman family still has a long journey ahead to bring their baby girls home. Millie and Margot are both stable with breathing and feeding intervention, but will likely be in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) until at least their due date in late July. Amy was discharged from the hospital on April 28th, and she and Troy have been dividing their time between the NICU with Millie and Margot, and home with Lorelei, their 1 year old.
The expense of having two babies in the NICU is immense, and will only grow with continued medical care, lost wages, and other additional expenses over the next weeks and months. With COVID-19, most friends and family can’t step in to help in person as we would want to, and we are hoping to relieve some of the financial stress Amy and Troy will experience in the months ahead.
Though Millie and Margot are doing well, your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes are very much needed and appreciated as they grow and move through important medical milestones. We know that the Grossmans have a big support system of family and friends, and that they have touched so many of our lives with their positivity and support over the years! Every contribution is appreciated, and the Grossmans thank you all for your love and support!
