Grooming lounge

Hi everyone, i’ve Been part or the grooming industry for over 20 years. For much of that span, I have worked as an independent Stylist. I specialize in scissor cutting, clipper cutting, braiding, 2strand twist, coils, beginner Locs and Loc cultivation and styling. I love this industry. It has taken me to other countries and different states. I have reached a point in my life where I would love to have a space where I can work and bless people with amazing hair care. I need help creating something different, professional, artistic, warm, great customer service, educated, clean, and organized. I have worked in quite a few salons in my 20 plus years. Many of them have been typical and basic. I have a vision of something different. If any of you can find it in your heart to donate anything you can for my cause, I promise you your contribution will not go to waste. I thought that I would try this because I truly need assistance in creating this dream.  I’ve never really been much on asking for help so I prayed on it and decided to give it a try.  I just want a space where everyone of all races and hair textures can come and be treated with adoration and respect. The funds would be used for rent, chairs, sinks, mirrors, special lighting, floors, computer, products, education, insurance and esthetics. It would be a blessing to have it in Brooklyn or Manhattan. I have been looking at Art Spaces in Bushwick. Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to read my story. Sometimes I feel my profession is underrated but I know how important my talent is an what I bring to the table. I just love what I do and I love making people happy. What better way to show love than to sincerely show someone you care about them and their hair. I am praying that I will be able to open the salon by the summertime.
