Gromshells Travel to Championships

The Santa Cruz Derby Groms are the Santa Cruz Derby Girls junior league.  The Groms JRDA charter team, named the Gromshells after their WFTDA league big sisters the Bombshells, is made up of 16 talented young women between the ages 13 to 18.  They have been hard at work over the last year preparing to compete at the highest level of junior roller derby and are currently ranked second in the JRDA's all-female division.  They have been invited to JRDA Championships which will take place mid-July in Loveland, Colorado.  The team will be traveling to Loveland from Santa Cruz to compete against the top teams in the world.
