We are collecting donations for grocery funds and other expenses for the Dassoundo Family. Nimi Wani from the parish office first reached out to Loaves & Fishes about assisting this family in February. Their story is below. Please consider donating to help ease this family's hardship.
Moriola was born at 25weeks on January 11, 2020. At 1lbs07oz her chances of survival were really low but with our faith in God, she has been making progress.
She went through multiple surgeries, Heart, Open-Abdomen, two brain surgeries and another brain surgery planned for the short term.
After 4 months on the ventilator, By the grace of God and the prayers of everyone, she is growing up strong. She made a complete recovery every time she went through a surgery.
Her two brothers who have never seen her can’t wait for her to come home.
Nothing is easy about being in the NICU – when there are bad days, they’re incredibly hard, and when there are good days, you’re only waiting for the next bad day. It’s not an experience any parent wants for their newborn or for themselves, but We are forever grateful for every day that our girl is alive.
