Robert is a dear friend from Waco, TX who is facing a challenging time. Some time ago, due to some improperly filled out forms, he was unexpectedly dropped from his food stamp plan. Since then, he’s had to navigate a confusing and frustrating reapplication process, spending weeks trying to get answers and finally managing to reapply. Unfortunately, even after all this effort, it typically takes about 30 days for the benefits to start again, leaving Robert and his family who has been covering that deficit in a tough spot.

During this gap, Robert is struggling to cover the cost of groceries for himself which has been an unwelcome burden to him and his family. The funds raised here will go directly toward providing funds for the food they need to get through the next couple months. Even a small contribution can make a big difference in helping Robert make it through this challenging season. So, this $400+ will be used to help for this month's + next month's groceries and back pay a bit of the deficit they had in the confusion.
