Ana Lucia’s Brain Surgery Recovery

Hoy un dia como hoy la vida cambio de un extremo al otro, por que cuando la vida Cambia, Cambia.
Esta es la Historia de Mi hija Ana Lucia una joven de 26 anos , llena de vida, alegría y amor en su corazón, muchos de ustedes la conocen y conocen su belleza interior, los que no verán en su foto su belleza exterior.
Desde que nació en Cali Colombia en febrero 25, Ana lucia fue una niña muy sana, su crecimiento y desarrollo fue optimo, pero había algo raro que siempre presentaba desde su pubertad, unos raros desmayos , los médicos en Colombia nunca pudieron dar con un diagnostico para esto. Los desmayos siempre aparecían y desaparecían en su crecimiento y juventud lo que le impidió practicar los deportes de su preferencia.
.Llegando a los estados unidos donde residimos Ana Lucia empezó a presentar con mas frecuencia e intensidad desmayos y empezamos a notar que era causado por estrés o emociones fuertes los médicos pensaron que su corazón tenia una Malformacion en la válvula la cual fue diagnosticada a sus 22 años, pensamos que el problema de los desmayos iba a disminuir pero no fue así y no veíamos ningún progreso en eso.
Pasando los anos ya Analucia cansada de ver que su Salud siempre iba a estar en riesgo dejo de asistir a médicos y decidió ir solo una vez al año para su chequeo anual, confiando a Dios su vida.
Empezó el año 2020 con todos los retos que mundialmente hemos pasado, mi hija empezó a sentirse muy mal, el dolor de cabeza era insoportable y sus mareos habían aumentado, su vista empezó a fallar, sudando mucho todos los días y aumentando diferentes síntomas diariamente, levantándose desenfocada y ya mas preocupada que antes, busco ayuda médica en abril, y fue ahí donde todo cambio de la noche en la mañana.
Ana lucia decide Viajar a Dayton Ohio a visitarme para mi cumpleaños en Junio sin saber lo que estaba pasando con su cerebro toma un avión por 2 horas y media de vuelo lo que causo días después de llegar a mi casa un ataque de epilepsia mientras comíamos y celebramos un cena familiar, fue llevada de Emergencia a un Hospital de Dayton no pudieron hacer mucho pues su seguro medico no cubría los gastos tan costosos y sin ningún diagnostico tomo nuevamente un avión de regreso al Estado de la Florida a la ciudad de Miami donde reside sola desde hace 4 años llegando a Miami con el dolor de cabeza mas intenso y su vista fallando sin saber que la altura del avión y el ataque de epilepsia tenia su parte izquierda del cerebro sangrado, su vida estaba en riesgo sin ella saberlo.
Ya una vez mi hija en Miami hizo sus citas con su doctora primaria quien le tenia prohibido manejar, tomando transporte publico se hizo un MRI en su cerebro y fue este el que arrojo el verdadero resultado de lo que estaba sucediendo en su cerebro; no nos esperabamos tan mala noticia, que yo como su madre nunca hubiese querido escuchar, el MRI no había salido nada bien tendría que ser sometida a una cirugía de cerebro, por tres días consecutivos, una malformación en sus venas y arterias era el que habia producido un enlace de ataques de epilepsia llevando a que la parte izquierda del cerebro hubiese sangrado y seguía sangrando. Todo era aun mas incierto e impotente por la pandemia mundial que nos asecha, esta complicaba mas nuestra situacion, sin poder estar presente en el hospital a su lado en su proceso pues las políticas del hospital no me lo permitían.
Mi hija sin trabajo y yo abandonado el mio en Dayton donde resido. La situación se torna aun mas complicada quedándose mi hija sin seguro medico, ya que por la pandemia fue declarada en lay off. Igual los médicos tomaron la vida de mi Hija en sus manos he hicieron tres cirugías entrando a su cerebro ; produciendo en la segunda cirugía una perdida de memoria a corto plazo la cual el medico sometió veintidos horas para dejar que el cerebro descansara y respondiera, todos en oración esperando siempre que la mano de Dios obrara a través del neurocirujano; era momento de entregar nuestra esperanza, Fe, confianza en Dios y aceptar su voluntad.
Mi hija recupero su memoria en el termino determinado por el Neurocirujano , fue sometida a la ultima cirugía la cual confiando todos en Dios fue un éxito en su parte izquierda del cerebro pero causando una perdida en su movimiento de la pierna derecha y su brazo derecho la cual ahora mismo estamos esperando su rehabilitación, su vista no esta del 100% y sigue muy débil de salud quedando deshabilitada para trabajar y a retomar a su vida normal.
Los Neurologos le dan seis meses para una buena y completa recuperación. Esto a ha afectado las finanzas de mi hija y de la Familia, es por eso que acudimos a todos ustedes y su valiosa ayuda para seguir tratamientos médicos, citas con sus neurólogos, exámenes, y rehabilitación de su pierna derecha y vista la cual sin seguro medico se nos hace difícil e imposible seguir continuado con sus tratamientos. Ana Lucia esta totalmente confianda en Dios que la persona que esta leyendo esto puede ser identificada que hay cosas en la vida que nosotros como seres humanos no tenemos control y ​que un granito de arena puede cambiar la vida de una persona y tu granito de arena puede cambiar y ayudar a que mi Hija en medio de esta pandemia pueda respirar y oxigenarse.

A day like today life would’ve changed from one end to the other, because when life means to change, it changes.

This is the story of my daughter AnaLucia a 26-year-old full of life, joy, and love in her heart, many of you might know her, and may know her inside beauty, those who don’t know her, may see her by her exterior beauty.

Ever since she was born in Cali, (Colombia), AnaLucia was a healthy kid, her growth and development was good, but there was something that always was showing up since puberty, rare passing outs or faintings that doctors in Colombia were never able to find an answer for.
Her fainting used to show up here and there while growing up which meant that for many of the her favorite sports, she was not able to play.

When coming to the USA, where we currently reside, AnaLucia started to have frequent faintings caused by stress or really hard emotions that even the doctors started to believe it was from a malformed heart valve that she was diagnosed with at age 22, we thought the faintings would cease but no progress was ever seen.

After the years passed by, AnaLucia was tired of seeing her health always being considered at risk that she stopped going to doctors monthly and started going once a year by trusting God with her life.

2020 has been a hard year for the world with the current events, but My daughter started feeling really bad with constant headaches and dizziness, her sight started to fail, she started to sweat constantly every day and different symptoms were appearing daily.
Becoming worried about her symptoms she looked for medical help in the month April, it was there were things started to change for the worse.

AnaLucia decided to travel to Dayton Ohio, to visit me for my birthday, Without knowing what her brain symptoms were doing, she took a flight for two hours and a half which days later provoked seizures while we were at a family reunion.

She was taken to emergency to the closest hospital in Dayton where they were not able to do much because of her insurance we’re not covered in Ohio, without any diagnostics she went back to Florida to the city of Miami where she currently resides, Another flight and more headaches after her seizure, she didn’t realize her left side of the brain was bleeding, her life was at risk without knowing it.
Next day after arriving in Miami Florida, her doctor advised her not to drive but to take an Uber to be able to see her, They proceeded with an MRI and he was this that shows the true answers they were looking for. Next paragraph

We were not expecting such bad news, And I as a mother was not ready for this news, MRI showed that she had to be induced in surgery, her veins and arteries were “tangled” causing the bleeding in her brain and the seizures.

Everything turned more frightening including the pandemic we are going through as I was not able to be present next to her at the hospital since the hospital policy was not allowing me.
My daughter had been laid off before the first seizure started, and I left my job to be with her, so her insurance was almost up when she went to the hospital, the doctors still took care of her life by three surgeries entering her brain by laparoscopic procedure. In her second surgery she had temporal loss of memory which caused the surgeon to have her rest for 22 hours until she responded.
With everyone praying and waiting for the hand of God to work through this neurosurgeon, it was the moment to put our hope, faith, and trust in God and Accept his will.
My daughter gain her memory back just in the determined time the doctor had expected, she went through the last surgery which was a success for her left side of the brain, but left a loss in movement in her right leg and right arm, to which we are still waiting for rehabilitation, Her sight is not 100% well and she still weak and is not able to start normal life or work.

The neurologist give her six months for a good and complete recuperation. This whole process has affected our finances mine and my daughters, that’s why we come to you and your precious help to be able to proceed with the treatments and appointments with doctors, anything related to rehabilitation of her movement and sight proceeding in time to which without insurance we cannot afford.

AnaLucia is trusting God that whoever is reading may feel related that there are things in life we cannot control as humans, and that the smallest grain of sand can change a persons life, please let your grain of Sand Help and change this situation my daughter is going through so that she can be lifted up.
