Grizzly Adams

On Monday our world was shaken. We learned that our beloved, best friend and ultimate adventure partner Grizzly Adams, was diagnosed with lymphoma. For those close to us, you know he has already overcome an extremely resistant fungal infection Aspergillosis with the help of UC Davis Veterinarian Hospital. As Grizzly is only 3 years of age and has such a zest for adventuring, backpacking, kayaking and road tripping we feel he has many more years of exploring left. We have decided to move forward with chemo and radiation giving him a chance at prolonging his life and his epic adventures for 2 years or longer. Everyone’s goal is quality of life and they assure us he will be able to resume his normal activities as long as his labs are within normal limits. Due to his past medical history we are still paying off those medical bills. Over the years we have tried to be there for our friends and family through all of their decisions (marriage, children, hobbies), and are hoping we can get support for Grizzly. He’s our fur son and everyday with him is a gift.
