Grizz the king German Shepherd
Hi there, my name is Kristie and I'm asking for some help to pay for my dogs surgery!
Meet Grizz! He is my pet dog and he lives with me and my mom here in Calgary! He is a very curious, boisterous, fun loving dog and he has been my loyal fur friend for the last 6 years. We've been on countless adventures together, from the streets of my neighborhood down to the bow river and even out camping in the backcountry! I love getting out into the world with him and he loves to run around and explore!
Unfortunately A few weeks ago Grizz started showing signs of some severe problems with his back. After a visit to Dr. Connery at VCA Animal Referal and Emergency Surgery Care Center we have found out that Grizz has a herniated disc in his lower spine. This is very big problem for him as it has left him with very limited mobility and unable to get the exercise he needs, and it is starting to take a heavy toll on his well being.
The good news is there is an option for surgery on his back to fix the herniated disc! The cost of this surgery and the CT scan is estimated at $9000.
We are asking for some additional support to help offset the cost and bring Grizz back to his old self. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
