This feature length documentary, set to premiere in spring of 2025, traces the impact of six trailblazing Jewish women who made the Lone Star a stronger and more inclusive place for all. The film is directed by Barbara Rosenthal and produced by Jeff Gross. The documentary subjects are, in chronological order, Rosanna Osterman (Galveston), Olga Kohlberg (El Paso), Gussie Oscar (Waco), Dr. Ray K. Daily (Houston), Fania Kruger (Wichita Falls and Austin), and Frances Kallison (Ft. Worth and San Antonio). Initial funding for the film was provided by a generous grant from the Texas Jewish Historical Association, followed by a number of gifts from dear friends of the director.
