Hello friends and family!

Eden is 6.5 years old now, which I still can’t believe! It’s been 4.5 years since we got Eden’s diagnosis and there has been so much support and research poured into finding a cure for our kiddos! I am incredibly thankful for people like Liz Marfia-Ash and Phil Ash, the founders of the Grin2B Foundation, and also parents to a beautiful daughter with Grin2B. It’s because of their time and energy given to this foundation that Grin2B is being made known in the medical and research field!!!

Eden’s updates:

1. Eden continues to attend an ABA (applied behavioral analysis) clinic 40 hours a week. She works with several people throughout the day to help reach her goals, such as learning all the sounds of the alphabet, counting numbers up to 30, being able to categorize items, etc.

2. The BIGGEST update is that Eden started POTTY TRAINING LAST WEEK!!! I honestly didn’t think she had it in her, but her BCBA suggested we try. And Eden has been doing FANTASTIC!!! With the exception of bowel movements, Eden hasn’t had many accidents! WHOOO HOOOOO!!!!

3. Eden has a new obsession for Peppa Pig, and will say “Peppa pig *snort snort.”

4. Eden is still Gtube fed but that’s ok. :D

Fundraising updates:

2018: $9,400 donated to Grin2B Foundation (3:1 match program)

2019: $17,000 donated to Grin2B Foundation (3:1 match program)

2020: $11,000 donated to Grin2B Foundation (3:1 match program)

2021: $14,580 donated to CureGrin Foundation (2:1 match program)

TOTAL: $51, 980 !!!!

2023: The total funds raised will be matched 2:1.

We want to thank every single one of you who have continued to support our family through all your prayers, words of encouragements, and most importantly your friendships. We couldn’t be where we are today without each and every single one of you.

To all our Seattle friends and family, we miss ya’ll!!!
