This week DJ Reader will match donations up to $1000.  
All funds go to Grimsley Football and other athletics.

We are also raising money for a new scoreboard.

The new scoreboard will allow us to feature video highlights as well as sponsorship videos throughout the games. In addition to improving the fans' experience, the scoreboard will be a significant source of fundraising revenue for us by allowing us to offer sponsorship videos. Your donation of $5, $50, $500 or $5000 and anything in between will help us with the initial down payment and the ongoing monthly payments.

Jamieson Stadium was opened in 1949 and is still one of the best high school football stadiums in NC and many Whirlie students and alumni would argue it's the best in the nation. It still has that "old school" feeling and many of us have fond memories of playing and/or watching Grimsley athletics in the stadium over the last 70+ years.

Technologically speaking however, it needs help! Big time!

This new video scoreboard will be a huge improvement. It's huge. It's loud. And it will give use lots of opportunities to better spotlight players, admin, alumni and community supporters. You may have noticed that our football team has been doing a lot with video recently but up until now, it has been mostly on social media. This new scoreboard will allow us to take our video game to a whole new level. And because it allows us to offer sponsorships, it will generate revenue for the entire athletics program at Grimsley High School.

We need your help to get it installed, then it will become a contributor, not an added expense. We will soon be offering sponsorship opportunities but for now we really need your help raising enough money to get it installed.

Would you be willing to help us out with a donation of any amount?

100% of funds donated to this campaign will go to the Booster Club in a designated fund specifically created to raise money for the scoreboard. Once we have the scoreboard installed, it will be used as a means of raising significant money by offering great exposure for local businesses and organizations through video sponsorships.
