Hi everyone,

We're Miranda and Steven, and we’re reaching out for support during one of the most difficult times we’ve faced as pet parents. Our beloved cat Grimm was recently hit by a car and has broken his femur. We rushed him to the emergency vet, and the news we received shattered us: Grimm will need major surgery or a possible amputation in order to live a normal life without pain again.

The costs associated with his treatment are already nearing $6,000—this includes emergency visits, X-rays, medication, transportation, recovery supplies, and the time we’ve taken off work to care for him day and night. While we’re doing everything we can to cover part of these expenses, we simply can’t do it alone.

We adopted Grimm from the Humane Society when he was just a 6-month-old stray, terrified and withdrawn. Slowly, with love and patience, he came out of his shell and transformed into the biggest cuddler and softest soul. He’s more than a pet—he's part of our family.

Our only wish is to take away his pain and give him the care he needs to heal and return to his loving, playful self. We’re asking for any help you can give, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this campaign. Every bit makes a difference.
