--------
Lowcountry Legend, Jamie Westendorff's grill was stolen on February 16, 2016.
This isn't just any ordinary grill, it's a cooker that this extraordinary man has used to feed thousands in our community, including the following non profits:
Camp Happy Days, The Ronald McDonald House, The Red Cross, Courageous Kids, The Hollings Cancer Center, Surfers Healing Folly Beach, Give and Grill, Green Hearts, Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., MUSC Childrens Hospital, Winwood Farm Home for Children, American Lung Assoc. Camp Puff 'n Stuff, just to name a FEW!
After Hurricane Hugo devastated our state in 1989, Jamie set up his grills in Marion Square downtown and fed upwards of 30k grateful people.
In 2009 Jamie was awarded the Post and Courier Jefferson Award for Public Service.
Jamie Westendorff is an incredibly talented chef with a huge heart, especially for children in need.
Your help in furnishing a new cooker for Jamie to continue his journey of service to the Lowcountry will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
