Dear Griffins Basketball Family:
We hope this finds you safe and healthy under these trying and unprecedented circumstances. Due to the confusing nature of these times, you are likely being overwhelmed with messages, so we apologize in advance for yet another one.
Griffins Basketball coaches rely on the income from working with your children. Many of them are full time with the academy or have been laid off from their daytime job. We have already come through a difficult few weeks and are looking at another month of no practices or games. Due to the nature of coaching, if the coaches do not coach, they have no income. Times are tough, especially for the coaches who so passionately dedicate themselves to working with your player. We are doing what we can to support them, so we’d like to ask you - our family, our community - to consider donating to this Go Fund Me to help support them through this very difficult time.
The majority of the proceeds will go towards our coaches. The remainder of the proceeds will be donated to the Griffin Youth Foundation.
Your child's involvement is the driving force behind our program. While we miss seeing all of you, we hope you will continue to practice social distancing and stay as safe as possible until this crisis has passed.
