Griff's Bridge
Tax deductible

Karen and I are so excited and honored to announce a special memorial bridge dedicated to our beloved son, Griffin. The bridge will be a major element of the Lakes Links Trail. Lakes Links Trail is an $8 million project to create a continuous bike and walking path that will surround White Bear Lake tying together the communities of Mahtomedi, Dellwood, White Bear Lake, Birchwood Village & White Bear Township.
Griff's Bridge will be located at a beautiful part of the trail that crosses over Depot Creek. Depot Creek is named after the trolley depot that existed over a century ago and was the final stop on the trolley line that connected Mahtomedi to downtown St Paul.
Griff's Bridge was designed to pay homage to the rich history of the area. Our hope is that the wooden covered bridge will be a beautiful point to stop, relax and enjoy the peaceful creek that flows beneath it. For us, it is the perfect place to create a lasting memory of Griffin who was so in love with nature.
The total budget for the bridge is $40,000. We have been blessed to have several local businesses donate the design fees and some of the construction materials. Karen and I have donated $15,000 for the project. That leaves a remaining budget of $15,000 to make the bridge a reality. Donations for the bridge will go directly to the Lakes Links Trail and are completely tax deductible. Please help us honor Griff.
