GRIEVING LOSS OF FATHER

Please help support Emerson’s future, with the recent loss of her father.

As a close friend of Stephanie Allison, I have set up this fundraiser to raise funds, in light of Dave Holland’s tragic, sudden death.

The purpose of the page is to help with funds, for Emerson’s future and to help with her in Dave’s absence. 

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go first to covering counselling, and then anything left over will go to supporting a bright future for Emerson, just as Dave would have wanted.

Research finds that grief can affect children in six different ways – cognitively, emotionally, physically, spiritually, socially and behaviourally. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss as a young child, adds a different element to the grieving process.

Losing a dad so unexpectedly is something unimaginable, and something that will never be healed. Dave was so kind and caring, goofy, funny and loved his daughter so much. He had a smile that lit up a room and a heart of gold. He will be so deeply missed by every single person who knew him, and we hope that the memory of his kind wonderful soul will live on forever.

On behalf of Steph and family, she appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support shown over the past few weeks and undoubtedly, in the months and years to come.

It is in times of sadness and loss when people can come together to help one another make it through. Any support and donation you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
